But, does this device stands any chance against Redmi Note 7 Pro? Is it a worthy buy over Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro? Let’s check it out in the Realme 3 Pro review below:
Design and Display
The Realme 3 Pro got the looks of Realme 2 Pro as both of them share quite a similar design and body. The new Realme device comes with a curved back and polycarbonate frame. Realme 3 Pro comes in three color variants: Nitro Blue, Carbon Grey, and Lightning Purple. The device weighs 172 grams and is little thick but easy to carry and gives a nice grip to hands. You can buy this phone online using Paytm Mall Cashback with great discount.
On the back panel, you can see a dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor too. The fingerprint sensor can be reached easily and responds or unlock the phone pretty fast too- half a second it takes. On the bottom, you can see a 3.5mm headphone socket, Micro-USB port, and a single speaker. Also, there are slots for two Nano-SIM cards and a microSD card separately.
Coming to the display, the Realme 3 Pro packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ IPS panel with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device has got pretty thin bezels around except the thick chin at the bottom. The display is really great which produces vivid and bright color and is sufficiently bright in sunlight too. On the top, you see a notch like Realme 2 Pro which houses front camera lens in it. The device uses facial recognization feature too which is just like any other Realme device- fast.

Performance
Under the hood, the Realme 3 Pro has an octa-core processor with Snapdragon 710 chipset. Comparing it with Xiaomi’s Note 7 Pro, it has a better chipset. Xiaomi offers Snapdragon 675 chipset with Note 7 Pro. The device comes in two RAM variants- 4GB and 6GB with an internal storage of 128GB. Although you can expand the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card. With such a fast processor, you can do all the heavy tasks or mediocre tasks with ease. No lags or hiccups are felt using this device which is a great thing- Realme 3 Pro is smooth. The gaming experience on this device is pretty decent too. Realme 3 Pro runs Android 9 out of the box with Color OS 6.
Camera
Talking about the cameras, the device gets a dual rear camera setup including 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor lens. For selfies, there is a 25-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear cameras are not as great as Xiaomi’sNote 7 Pro- but they are totally worth it. The pics come out crisp and vibrant in daylight and in night sky too, the pics showed enough detailing. When it comes to selfies, the pics come good and smooth. No doubt, you will like the camera. But, it is a tad bit below the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro when it comes to clarity. Final Verdict
The Realme 3 Pro is a great device if you are looking for an upgrade to your old Realme 2 Pro. With better cameras, elongated battery life, new colors and powerful chipset, Realme 3 Pro is one of the best devices in the mid-range bracket. There might not be significant changes but more power to the device has added more to this device. Comparing it to the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme hasn’t done justice. It is a tad bit behind the Xiaomi’s device when it comes to overall activities. That said, still, Realme 3 Pro is a great buy if you are looking for a smartphone under twenty grands. If you are looking for jobs then e-commerce could be the best chance to try.
