Reggae Summer Fest was launched to raise funds and awareness of Cancer disease and to highlight its effects on our community and on our society as a whole. Reggae Summer Fest is a flagship event that will attract reggae fans across the United States. Reggae, a music genre that brings people from all walks of life together, is untapped in the nation’s capital.

Reggae Summer Fest started as a fundraising idea; however, it quickly sparked the imagination of many in the community and evolved into a festival that will become the most talked about show in the capital for generations to come. While funds are being raised during the festival, it will also introduce a major Reggae Festival to Washington DC area. This will become an annual event that will contribute economic and social benefits, as well as enhance the touristic appeal of Washington, D.C.
