Oscar Award winner Louis Gossett Jr has played in numerous films but is best known for his role as Sgt. Emil Foley in “An Officer and a Gentleman. He is highly acclaimed and is ranked as one of the most respected African-American actors of stage, screen, and television.

Nawang Khechog
Nawang Khechog is a Grammy nominee and one of Tibet’s formost world music composer and musician. He is also one of the first Tibetan musicians to be able to break into international world music scene with his original and authentic musical compositions (solo and collaborative albums) to be distributed around the world through different record label. In 2007 Nawang received Tibetan Music Award ( Special Recognition , similar to Life Time Achievement Award) and International Civil Golden Award , The highest civilian award of Nepal.

Al Sutton is an American filmmaker, and actor, who has produced a variety of films of different genres, including documentaries in the medical field, documentaries of memorable, historic events and theatrical films. He has also been on Television show “Law & Order”. He is also a musician, and operates his own record label, Alsut Records.

Sabrina Taylor-Smith
Sabrina is currently the Co-Host of the show “Click On This”. She is a songwriter and Actress. Her songs are on the sountrack for the film “Leaving Hollywood” which is nominated in our festival.

Cynthia Rothrock

Christian World Links, Inc. & Hey Papi Promotions is pleased to host this year’s first “Spirit of Love Fest” on Saturday, August 28, 2010. This spectacular event will take place at Granville Gude Park, also known as “Laurel Lakes,” in Laurel, MD. (Next to Laurel Mall) between 12pm to 5pm. We anticipate a crowd of 3,000 people for this event.

Countless families and individuals are struggling just to survive in the midst of a poor economy. People are losing their homes, their jobs and their peace of mind. As gifts of love there will be free items distributed, free health screening and access to various sources of help that is available in our city or state. This event will let those that are struggling, know that we do care and we are here to help, as well as, bring support and encouragement during these economic challenging times.

Our Free items will include Back to School Supplies, Health Education and Screening, Food Distribution, Financial Guidance, Employment Opportunities and Utility Services information.
There will also be live entertainment and a variety of childrens’ activities. There will be a host of vendors with everything from food to clothing reaching out to the entire community of Laurel and surrounding areas.

As a performer, sponsor or a vendor at this ideal event, it will enhance your organization’s credibility and visibility within the community. This premier event will create promotional opportunities through your participation and assist your company in acquiring attention and awareness via advertisements and media exposure.

B& K Productions & Kettering Recreation Council invite you to attend to the 9^th Annual Kettering/largo/Mitchellville Family Community Day & Health Fair.

Washington, DC— B&K Productions and Kettering Recreation Council will host the 9^th annual KLM Community Day & Health fair on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. The Community Day will be held at the Kettering/Largo Recreation Center, the address is 431 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774.

The Family Day Event will consist of free Health Assessment Testing with over 40 Health Care Organizations, Children Events (clown, face painting, giant slide, moon bounce, pony rides), 3 on 3 Basketball tournaments, fashion show and talent showcase with live performers from the metropolitan area. In addition we will have over 30 arts and craft and food vendors from the local area.

We believe this is a great opportunity for our community members to become better acquainted.
